Live Voting

Live voting allows you to query the mood within the audience or participants of your event. With this feature you as the organizer are able to define questions which you can ask your participants in a live voting. The participants will receive a notification when a new voting has started and can participate until the organizer pauses or ends the voting. An important note at this point is that only one question can be active in live voting. If you start a new question, the previous question is automatically paused. Each participant can only take part in a live voting once.

Create voting

To create a new live voting, click on the button „Create new live voting“. Add a title that is only visible to you. Ask the appropriate question and choose from the different options for the answers. There are three options for participants to answer the question: „Answer“, „Mood“ or „Checkbox“.

Answer

If you choose „Answers“, a list with selectable answers appears below the selection. It is predefined that at least two options will be offered to the participants. If you want to offer more answers, click on the plus-button with a green background. A field for a third, fourth etc. answer possibility appears. The survey type „Answer“ allows one possible answer from the options you have specified.

Mood

If you want to have your survey answered via „mood“, three smileys will appear. There is a happy face, a neutral face and a sad face. The participants can quickly and easily have their mood displayed here using the faces offered.

Checkbox

The third way to have a survey answered is the checkbox. Here you can also offer the participants as many answers as you like, but at least two. To add more answer options, click on the plus-button with a green background. The „Checkbox“ option allows you to offer more than one answer. Specify how many answer options are available for your question. For example, participants can choose 2 possible answers from 5 different options.

Start Live Voting

If you have saved your survey, it will appear including the answer options you have chosen. You can edit the survey by clicking on the „Edit“ button. If you want to delete your survey, click on the trashcan icon. You can activate your poll by clicking on the „Start“ button. Confirm the start again in the popup window. You can also specify here whether the participants should receive an e-mail notification about the live voting that has started.

Evaluation of the survey

When you have started the survey, percentages and absolute numbers now appear behind the answer options. These reflect the current mood of your audience in numbers. On the right-hand side, you as the organizer can see how many of your participants have already voted. If you end the survey, the participants will no longer have the opportunity to participate.

After finishing the survey you can present the results via a public link. The absolute number of participants is not shown, but only the distribution in percentages of the individual answers.

Durch das Live-Voting können Sie die Stimmung innerhalb des Publikums oder der Teilnehmer Ihrer Veranstaltung abfragen. Sie als Veranstalter können innerhalb dieses Features Fragen definieren, die Sie im Rahmen eines Live-Votings an Ihre Teilnehmer stellen können. Die Teilnehmer wiederum erhalten eine Benachrichtigung, wenn ein neues Voting gestartet wurde und können daran teilnehmen, bis der Veranstalter das Voting pausiert oder beendet. Ein wichtiger Hinweis an dieser Stelle ist, dass nur eine Frage im Live-Voting aktiv sein kann. Falls Sie eine neue Frage starten, wird die vorherige Frage automatisch pausiert. Jeder Teilnehmer kann nur einmalig an einem Live-Voting mitmachen.

Voting erstellen

Um ein neues Live-Voting zu erstellen, klicken Sie auf den Button „Neues Live Voting erstellen“. Fügen Sie einen Titel hinzu, der nur für Sie sichtbar ist. Stellen Sie die entsprechende Frage und wählen Sie aus den unterschiedlichen Optionen für die Antworten aus. Als Antwortmöglichkeiten für Teilnehmer gibt es drei Optionen: „Antworten“, „Stimmung“ oder „Checkbox“.

Antworten

Entscheiden Sie sich für „Antworten“, erscheint unterhalb der Auswahl eine Liste mit wählbaren Antworten. Vorgegeben sind mindestens zwei Antworten, die man den Teilnehmern anbietet. Sofern Sie mehrere Antwortmöglichkeiten anbieten möchten, klicken Sie auf den grün hinterlegten Plus-Button. So erscheint ein Feld für eine dritte, vierte usw. Antwortmöglichkeit. Der Umfragetyp „Antworten“ erlaubt eine mögliche Antwort aus den von Ihnen vorgegebenen Optionen.

Stimmung

Möchten Sie Ihre Umfrage via „Stimmung“ beantworten lassen, erscheinen drei Smileys. Es gibt ein glückliches Gesicht, ein neutrales Gesicht und ein trauriges Gesicht. Die Teilnehmer können hier schnell und einfach ihr Stimmungsbild anhand der offerierten Gesichter abbilden lassen.

Checkbox

Die dritte Möglichkeit, um als Veranstalter eine Umfrage beantworten zu lassen, ist die Checkbox. Auch hier können Sie den Teilnehmern beliebig viele Antworten anbieten, mindestens jedoch zwei. Um weitere Antwortmöglichkeiten hinzuzufügen, klicken Sie auf das grün hinterlegte Plus-Symbol. Die Option „Checkbox“ bietet die Möglichkeit, mehr als eine Antwort zu geben. Legen Sie fest, wie viele Antwortmöglichkeiten für Ihre Frage zur Verfügung stehen. Zum Beispiel können Teilnehmer 2 mögliche Antworten aus 5 verschiedenen Optionen auswählen.

Live Voting starten

Haben Sie Ihre Umfrage gespeichert, erscheint die Umfrage inklusive der von Ihnen gewählten Antwortmöglichkeiten. Sie können die Umfrage bearbeiten, indem Sie auf den Button „Bearbeiten“ klicken. Möchten Sie Ihre Umfrage löschen, klicken Sie auf das Mülleimer-Symbol. Indem Sie auf das Feld „Start“ klicken, können Sie Ihre Umfrage aktivieren. Bestätigen Sie den Start nochmal in dem Popup-Fenster. Zudem können Sie hier bestimmen, ob die Teilnehmer eine E-Mail-Benachrichtigung über das gestartete Live-Voting erhalten sollen.

Auswertung der Umfrage

Wenn Sie die Umfrage gestartet haben, erscheinen nun Prozentzahlen und absolute Zahlen hinter den Antwortmöglichkeiten. Diese reflektieren das aktuelle Stimmungsbild Ihres Publikums in Zahlen. Am rechten Rand können Sie als Veranstalter ablesen, wie viele Ihrer Teilnehmer bereits abgestimmt haben. Wenn Sie die Umfrage beenden, haben die Teilnehmer keine Möglichkeit mehr, daran teilzunehmen.

Nach Beenden der Umfrage können Sie die Ergebnisse über einen öffentlichen Link präsentieren. Dabei werden die absoluten Teilnehmerzahlen nicht angezeigt, sondern lediglich die Verteilung in Prozentzahlen auf die einzelnen Antworten.
